Information we collect
- Enquiries: your name, business email, website, business type and the help you request. You may also provide a company name, advertising budget and message.
- Correspondence: information you send us by email and our replies, including details needed to understand your project.
- Technical information: the hosting service may record your IP address, requested pages, request times, browser information and errors. The form uses a security session and a hashed IP-based record to limit repeated requests.
Required form fields are marked with an asterisk. Without them, we cannot process an audit request through the form. Optional fields can be left blank. Please do not send passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information or customer lists in an enquiry.
How and why we use information
We use enquiry details to respond, assess your needs, prepare an audit or proposal and discuss a possible engagement. Technical records help deliver the website, diagnose faults and prevent spam or misuse. We may also use relevant records to meet legal duties or handle disputes.
Where a legal basis is required, responding to a request you make about entering a contract relies on taking steps at your request before a contract. Communications with a business representative and website security rely on our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business, balanced against your rights. Mandatory record-keeping relies on the relevant legal obligation.
The privacy checkbox acknowledges that you have read this notice. It does not sign you up for marketing. We do not use website enquiries for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law restricts international transfers, we use the safeguards it requires, such as recognised adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data and how to obtain a copy of applicable safeguards.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiries and related correspondence while responding to your request and considering or managing a business relationship. We review whether the information is still needed when the enquiry is resolved or discussions end, taking account of outstanding follow-up, applicable record-keeping duties and the time needed to establish or defend legal claims. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Form security tokens expire after one hour. Request-limit records use a ten-minute activity window; inactive records become eligible for periodic cleanup after 24 hours. Hosting logs and backups follow the hosting provider’s retention arrangements, taking account of security investigations, recovery needs and applicable legal duties.
If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, records needed to deliver the service, maintain accounts or handle legal claims are retained for the relevant contractual and legally required periods. The service agreement and any data processing agreement provide further details.
Protecting your information
We use safeguards appropriate to the information and risks involved, including form validation, request limits and session checks. We limit access to enquiry records to those handling your request or supporting the service. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure; contact us if you believe information sent to us has been exposed or misused.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. If we rely on consent for a particular activity, you can withdraw it without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful reason why a request cannot be fully fulfilled.
You may complain to the competent data protection authority, including, where applicable, the authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. You do not have to contact us first.
